Take the Web Site and Run

An April promise is delivered in January.

As some of you may remember, I suggested at the Reunion celebration in April that I would attempt to make the WGBHAA/Reunion 2000 Web site available for personal download.

Well, I'm delighted to report that fortune has smiled, the software gods have been cooperative, and the Web site's "keepsake" version has been shaped into a single condensed file that can be imported from the Web, installed on your individual computer and then expanded into a fully functioning copy. The downloadable file (on original Web site) represents the site as it appeared on January 1, 2001.

Though I plan to continue maintaining and updating the website on the Internet, for the immediate future at least, it seemed reasonable to me that some of us might also like to have personal copies of the original to keep on our own hard drives or CD ROMs.
