I was devastated to hear the news about Sonia’s passing. It was such a short while ago that she announced on her FB page that she was diagnosed with her cancer, and I mistakenly still thought she’d live forever. I wish she had. She had such a large presence both in-person and through social media, and I loved our friendship even as it became only through social media after my cross-country move 15 years ago. I will really miss her. We lost such a wonderful person.

Sonia was such a bright, vibrant spirit– and I’m so glad to have known her at GBH. Deepest and heartfelt condolences to her friends and family.
