Joanne Huskey

I worked at WGBH TV first for ZOOM as the Contributions Editor from 1974-1975, and then later as a consultant developing children’s television programming ideas from 1978-79. We had a terrific team and i loved working there those years.  I still have such fond memories of WGBH.

Today, I am an author, international trainer, and educator.  As part of a foreign service family I lived and worked all over the world for 30 years in Nicaragua, France, China, India, Kenya, and Taiwan.  I founded both the American international School in Chennai, India, and Global Adjustments, a relocation business in India.

After returning to the U.S., I founded an NGO to train young women in leadership skills.  We have worked on 5 continents with up and coming leaders from ages 15 to 22.  It has been very rewarding work.  Here is a film clip of our work:

I have authored three books,  The Unofficial Diplomat, Make it In India, and our latest book about iLive2Lead, called iCAN: A Young Woman’s Guide to Taking the Lead.

It would be fun to catch up with some of the people I knew at WGBH so long ago.
