I left WGBH in 1986 to start my family and continued to do some freelance producing and writing. My career shifted in another direction and I attended Harvard Divinity School, 1995-2000, received an MDiv. and was ordained to the Unitarian Universalist ministry.
I continue to serve as a congregational minister and as a counselor, mediator, and educator in the community.
Writing is still central to my work, as is connecting people with each other and with ideas (something I treasured about my time at WGBH).
I moved back to my hometown of Pittsburgh in 2011, where I enjoy making music, doing yoga, and all outdoor recreation with my dog. And when possible, visiting my grown children, Sam (in Barcelona) and Michaela (in Portland, OR).
