Countdown #1 – April 2018

The final countdown with details is here.

April 26: We’re looking forward to seeing you at the reunion on October 20!

Even though it’s still 6 months away, we’ve already received a lot of RSVPs — it should be a good turn out!

Take a look at the Guestbook to see who’s planning to join us. We’ll update the list each month through October, so if you haven’t already let us know, please complete this form.

Save the date:

  • Saturday, October 20, 2018, 12:30-5:30
  • WGBH Studios, One Guest Street, Brighton, MA
  • More information is here.

The planning team is hard at work bringing to life the themes you shared in the survey. Our main goal is to preserve as much time as possible for socializing. We’ll have an outline soon!

If you’re planning on coming from away and need a place to stay, please be aware that the Head of the Charles regatta is Oct 20-21. Although WGBH is working on getting discounted blocks of hotel rooms, space will be limited that weekend. So, this is a good reason to plan ahead and make reservations now … and additional incentive to come to Boston on October 20. Stay the weekend and enjoy the festivities!

Starting next month, we’ll be posing a few questions here on the website to get your memories flowing. Here are a few questions we’re considering, and let us know if you have other suggestions!

  • Can you tell us about your first memories of WGBH?
  • If you could do one thing over again during your time at WGBH, what would it be?
  • Did you have a mentor who helped you?
  • What has been your professional path since WGBH?

Can’t wait to see you. More details next month!
